Language skills

All the health care professionals must possess an adequate oral and written command of Finnish or Swedish, which are the official languages of Finland. Language skills adequate for practice as a physician or dentist must proved by a Civil Service Proficiency Certificate or by a national Certificate of Language Proficiency.  Information of language certificates and language examinations is available on the National Board of Education website
